■   The    neck   rest   collar   is   a    one-piece    rigid    cercival    spine

immobilization  device  designed  to  assist  the  rescuer  with    the

maintenance of neutral alignment, prevention of letarel  [side-to-

side]  sway and  anteriorposterior [forward  and  backword]  flexion

and  extension  of the  cercival  spine  during transport and  routine

patient care or movement.
